Hosting provided by Solvana Digital, code maintained on a voluntary basis, and the support of partner shelters, vets and towns. No advertising, no data resale. Just what it takes to bring an animal back home.

Behind Animalerte

Why I built this site

I’m Adrien. Like many people, I’ve known that anxiety: an animal vanishes, and you have no idea where to start.

Looking for help, I found that existing platforms charge for visibility (30 to 100 CHF to get an alert seen) at the very moment a family is most vulnerable. That outraged me.

I built Animalerte to offer the opposite: a completely free service where every animal has the same chance of being found, with no paid option and no advertising. Because helping bring an animal home should never be a business.

Do you run a shelter, a pound or a veterinary practice?

This project only makes sense with you. Relay alerts from your region, display a QR code at reception, report a recovered animal, at no cost and no commitment.
