Who runs this site

Animalerte is published and operated by:

Sole proprietorship, not entered in the commercial register (art. 931 para. 1 CO) and not liable for VAT (art. 10 para. 2 let. a VAT Act).

The same person is the controller under Swiss data protection law. What is collected, why and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

Hosting

The site and its database are hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Genève), Suisse. Hosting is provided by Solvana Digital.

A community service, still in its trial run

Animalerte is free, with no paid advertising and no paid promotion. The service is still in its trial run: some features are incomplete and interruptions are possible. No availability is guaranteed, and nothing can guarantee that an animal will be found.

Listing content

Listings are posted by their authors, who answer for them. We do not check them beforehand, and we remove any listing that is clearly false, abusive or unlawful as soon as we learn of it: write to info@animalerte.ch

Photos

By uploading a photo you confirm you are entitled to publish it, and you allow it to be shown on the site and on the service’s materials (printable poster, shareable image, posts on our pages). It stays yours: deleting the listing removes the photo everywhere we keep it.

Brand and site content

The name Animalerte, its logo and the site texts belong to its operator. The logo was drawn by CTRLT. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and its contributors.

Applicable law

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Sion, so far as the law allows it to be agreed.
